Job Description

Atkinson Moss are currently working with a business who are a leading service provider in Norwich City Centre in property services.The Company are looking for a Finance Systems Administrator to join their finance team, reporting into the Head of Financial Processing & Systems starting immediately.Key objectives of role:1.To assist in providing a quality, professional and comprehensive first line Finance systems support to the Finance Team and the wider company.

  1. Assist in the day-to-day management of the Groups Finance systems, providing advice, guidance, and training where necessary.
Main responsibilities:
  1. To maintain the integrity, performance and controlled access to SUN financial system, Proactis purchasing system and peripheral finance systems eg. Contract Service Billing, Collect, Making Tax Digital, P2P systems etc.
  2. Support critical financial processes with any system dependency eg. Month End eg. Proactis accrual posting, payment runs etc.
  3. To support the Head of Financial Processing & Systems to deliver best benefit from financial systems to service operational needs of the Finance Team
  4. To support the Head of Financial Processing & Systems and the wider Finance Transformation in undertaking special projects as required, adhering to the changing needs of the Business.
Key Tasks:
  1. Responsible for the maintenance of the SUN financial system so that only authorised people have appropriate access and ensuring alterations to the ledger structure are properly authorised.
  2. To ensure that all interface files to the SUN financial system are received, reconciled and input right first time every day for Universal Housing and Proactis Purchase to Pay systems.
  3. Responsible for the maintenance of the Proactis purchasing system so that only authorised people have appropriate access, ensuring all alterations and additions to data files are properly authorised.
  4. Track demand to inform improvement areas
  5. Focus on continuous improvement to review and challenge current processes
  6. Liaise with users to understand issues and areas of improvements
  7. Partake as a Finance System Expert on both Finance Transformation & Group Wide projects to ensure that all finance requirements are considered and acted upon
  8. Deputise for the Head of Financial Processing & Systems as required
  9. Assist in documenting processes and training material
  10. Develop knowledge of system developments within the sector and finance industry to ensure Flagship is accessing the most up to date systems to help drive efficiencies
  11. To consider Health and Safety compliance within the working environment.
  12. To ensure that Financial Regulations are complied with at all times.
  13. To carry out duties as assigned by the Head of Financial Processing & Systems, Heads of Finance, Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer.
