Job Description

As Finance Business Partner, you will provide finance and decision support to the clients across the business, assisting them to achieve commercial success by ensuring financial forecasting, planning, decision making and operational control, whilst workingclosely with the operational and financial accounting teams.Your day-to-day duties will include the monthly financial analysis of operational results, facilitating the ongoing forecasting and annual budgeting process for their contracts, maintaining financial controls, ensuring corporate reporting is done on a timelybasis alongside ad-hoc financial reviews, as well as regular financial performance review with operational teams at all levels.This is a great opportunity to utilise your business partnering expertise, as you will get involved in the following:

  • Monthly financial results and the key financial drivers of your division
  • Business analysis of monthly management accounts and business drivers
  • Regular meetings with managers to advise and support
  • Prepare data and analysis in collaboration with Business Managers
  • Support with external financial submissions
  • Extract and analyse data from in-house systems
  • Other project work as required
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), someone who is highly numerate with outstanding interpersonal, writing and communication skills, an ability to challenge management thinking but also work in partnership to improve the business.Ideally, you will have proven financial experience working within a commercial environment with prior experience as a business partner supporting operational colleagues. Experience with preparing annual budgets and analysing financial results is a must aswell as experience of managing multiple stakeholders.
