An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant in central Norwich.6 month Fixed Term Contract, possible permanent opportunity thereafter.Supporting a talented team of finance professionals.Easy access to public transport links.The role:Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes and inputting purchase ledger invoices onto Sage ready for payment in fortnightly BACS runsFollow up missing purchase orders and delivery confirmationMaintain the record of purchase orders receivedChecking monthly supplier statements to make sure all invoices have been received including filing of year end statements for audit purposesRemittance advicefor BACS payment runs, annotating invoices and moving to final filing foldersIssue and email out sales invoices Input otherincome from data downloaded and reconcile payouts to bank statementsInput monthly Sales ReturnsProcess all allocated work within the given end of month deadlines, maintaining an end of month checklist enabling the Finance Manager to oversee workloads and ensure that deadlines are metOther tasks within the team as required.The successful person will be competent using Excel and have experience in a similar role.To apply, please submit your CV or contact Caroline Meeson at Pure
