Job Description

Current Team Information A small but experienced team, working alongside international end user colleagues and third-party Dynamics Partners. Our Team is responsible for rolling out D365FO throughout the Savills businesses within EMEA.The Role & Key ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting bespoke role, where we are looking for an experienced management accountant, with a great understanding of business processes within an ERP life cycle. Therefore the successful candidate would be required to understand the process lifecycleprior to financial input, for example Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash.Full training in D365FO would be provided, by the existing functional team.Key responsibilitiesAbility to contribute during requirement gathering workshops, communicating and understand the important in an existing business processes, while evaluating how these processes could fit into standard D365FO process.Ability to fully document business process requirements and evaluating business process gaps.Take functional lead on user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting and reviewing test scripts.Hypercare end user support, although we do have an internal support team, once a country goes live for an agreed period the ERP team will provide hyper care support.Data transformation from legacy accounting systems (European), into a new shared global structure.Data Migration (From legacy system)Ability to fully produce functional requirement documents (FRD), these documents are used to outline a requirement which may not fit a standard out of the box process. This may include ideas on how this process could be achieved using standard features.Other functional tasks, which are required in order go-live with the country.Its important to note that this role will develop over a period of time, while the successful candidate transitions from their existing accounting role to a wider ERP Functional Consultant.Although this role is predominantly based in our Norwich office, there will be an expectation that the candidate will visit our King William Street (London) office on a regular basis, and travel to our European offices, during certain phases within the projects.(All travel and expenses will be reimbursed, beyond our Norwich office).Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required Skill and Experience:At least 10 years experience in an accountancy type role (This would include multiple roles within the finance team).At least 5 years experience using an ERP (e.g., JDE, SAP, AX Dynamics)Part Qualified Accountancy qualification (Preferable AAT)Extensive experience with Microsoft OfficeExperience producing Management Accounts on a monthly basis.Knowledge of the process Procure to Pay, this means the lifecycle from raising a Purchase order, processing supplier invoices, and processing supplier payments.Knowledge of process Order to Cash, this means the lifecycle from raising a Sales Order (or similar), processing customer invoicing and posting customer payments.Understanding of VATExperience of accounting year end, along with preparing for a year end audit. (End user side, not auditors)Full drivers licencePersonal Skills and KnowledgeAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical groups, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable in taking sole ownership and accountability of tasks, managing them until completion.Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to work both remotely (Home based, and within an office environment)Encouraged to work as a team, in order to achieve task completion, even those which had not been originally assigned to you. Can delegate tasks, where appropriate, and work under pressure.Confident, with the ability to think quickly and concisely.Able to think logically and independently.Reliable, tolerant, and determined.A desire to move into the IT industry, with enthusiasm to use and learn the latest technologies.Happy to embrace new experiences and responsibilities.Willingness to work over contractual hours to complete tasks/projects.Ability to think creatively outside the box, proposing robust and pragmatic solutions to challenging functional process scenarios, relying on years of experience how to achieve the required outcomes.Able to develop and hone ideas for potential enhancements/improvements to current business processes.Desired Skills (Not essential as training would be provided)Experience with AX 2012 and/or D365FOMicrosoft TeamsMicrosoft DevOpsServiceNow
