Job Description

Are you experienced within Journalism Seeking a new Editor role Look no further!A superb opportunity has arisen for an Editor to manage our clients Daily News Bulletin. The Daily News Bulletin goes out to all their customers every weekday morning by 7.30am and is read by over 70,000 financial professionals in banks, building societiesand regulators.Key Responsibilities: To act as Editor for the Daily News Bulletin and ensure it goes to press on time every weekday. Sourcing financial news on a continual basis throughout the day. To be the point of contact for information on Movers and Shakers within the industry. To ensure all information is accurate. To be part of the Editorial team, sharing insight within the industry.Why YouWith previous experience in financial journalism, the successful applicant will have a diploma in production journalism, NCTJ-accredited journalism qualification or equivalent experience. Ideally, familiar with personal finance products, a good eye for detailand an ability to concentrate for long periods, the Editor will naturally, be deadline aware.Given the nature of this role it is likely that much of the workload will be conducted outside of normal office hours.
