Job Description

rthirteen recruitment are assisting a dynamic international corporate in their search for a Delivery Manager. Working within an Agile environment, the focus of this role will be the management of teams to ensure they are working towards the delivery of projects,overcoming obstacles that arise during the delivery process and managing the expectations of stakeholders. Your role will play a key role in the evolution of digital services within the business.Youll be a champion of Agile & PRINCE2 working practices with a background of mentoring squads to adhere to best practice and experience in digital delivery. This is an exciting role within a growing business.There is the option within the role for remote working with the flexibility to come into the Norwich office. Duties to include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of assigned projects that meant stakeholder requirements.
  • Managing and building teams, driving a high-performance culture.
  • Ensuring collaboration and communication within teams.
  • Facilitating continuous improvement.
  • Proactively overcoming obstacles that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regularly reviewing and comparing the best process and delivery methods to ensure these are optimised and working efficiently.
  • Gathering an understanding of the needs to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Actively managing internal and external risks, issues and dependencies.
You will have/be:
  • Proven experience of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science or previous relevant industry experience.
  • Qualifications in PRINCE2 and Agile Scrum.
  • Confident in coaching Agile methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in developing working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of business.
  • Experience of presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to motivate, inspire and support others.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Exposure to relevant ISO standard and best practice.
This a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this role is highly competitive.
