Job Description

Delivery Driver – Spider is advertising on behalf of a national and highly respected electrical wholesale company based in Norwich, who is currently in search for a Delivery Driver. This is a part-time, evening role delivering good throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, immediate start available.For this Delivery Driver you will be driving a 3.5t commercial vehicle. Elements of this role may require ability to lift up to 20kg. As a Delivery Driver you must always drive in a careful and courteous manner with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and company procedures.The role will also include:

  • Assisting loading the vehicle
  • Daily walk round vehicle checks, reporting any vehicle defects and maintenance
  • Planning route, and organising your run.
  • Completing any necessary paperwork and obtain P.O.Ds upon delivery of goods.
    • Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Hold a UK license with entitlement for Cat B, for at least 2yrs with no more than 6 points
  • Good geographical knowledge of Norfolk and Suffolk
  • Customer service experience
  • Confident communicator
  • Flexible/punctual/reliable
  • Good time-keeping skills
