Job Description

Rthirteen are supporting in the recruitment of a Data & Reporting Lead to join a growing insurance firm, based in the heart of Norwich. Your role will lead the design and continually develop data understanding, production, use and incomereporting.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with an analytical mind and strong data skills to join a supportive business in a role that offers plenty of future potential for progression and a real chance to shape the how the business grows.Your duties will include:

  • Analysing and reviewing existing data sources and platforms in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Producing business reports that meet company requirements.
  • Managing income reporting and key deliverables within a comprehensive timetable.
  • Working with internal teams to create regular board reports and being adaptable to changing demand.
  • Reconciling income and handling subsequent queries/issues with contracts.
  • Uploading income transactions to the system in good time.
  • Regularly updating finance plan with accurate information.
  • Meeting deadlines to produce bordereaux reports and managing the payment process.
You will have/be:
  • Proven experience of MI reporting.
  • Experience of data manipulation using SQL, SAS, Python, R or similar.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Query and VBA.
  • Well organised with good time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to suit different audiences.
  • Able to work of own initiative and adapt to change well.
  • Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in a similar environment is desirable.
  • Passionate about technology and a commercial environment.
This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday, in newly refurbished offices in central Norwich. The offered salary is £32,000-£40,000 depending on experience with a competitive benefits package.
