Job Description

Anglian Home Improvements are searching for a Data Engineerto join our vibrant Data Team.The role ofData Engineerwill be responsible for the architecture of database solutions with the creation and management of data pipelines. The individual will be responsible for ensuring robust data managementand governance ensuring the data structures are accessible and secure.What the Role is

  • Designing and building scalable pipelines to extract, transform and load data from a variety of sources to be available on a consolidated and shares information platform.
  • Management of data warehouse design, framework
  • Provide governance to support functional and non-functional business needs
  • Create and maintain integrations with multiple systems, ensuring data security and retention policies are applied.
  • Maintain integrity of data set design
  • Anticipate user analytics needs in design of new data structure when designing new ETL imports.
  • Implementing new technologies such as Azure, Databricks Spark SQL and Mulesoft
  • Ensure adequate set up and performance data sets to support analytics and modelling systems such as Microsoft BI and AI
What We Need
  • Ideally experience in a similar Data role gained within a commercial environment.
  • Professional Data Engineering related certification
  • Ability to write robust code in SQL or Python
  • Data modelling, warehouse and building ETL pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake
