Job Description

Data Compliance ManagerNorwich (home working available)Salary - (flexible based on experience)PermanentIm working with an international SaaS (software as a service) business in Norwich which works with consumers all around the world helping them with their financial affairs.My clients team is expanding to meet demand and theyre are looking to recruit experienced Data Compliance Manager with a proven track record in delivery of compliance to strengthen their current processes.You will responsible for the day to day delivery of all aspects of compliance and will have come from a Finance/Risk/Insurance background.This will also include: Establishing relationships and representing the service with key customers. Ensuring that requests are handled professionally and within statutory timescales. Mentoring and supporting other staff through their training programmes.Personal Capabilities Required

  • Effective communication and report writing skills and ability to operate within reporting deadlines
  • Sound judgement and ability to know when to escalate and when to seek assistance.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and adapt to varied decision making scenarios
  • Able to work independently to assess/analyse/provide recommendations for complex issues
  • Developing, building, and maintaining excellent relationships across our business units to strengthen relationships
  • Analytical mind and skillset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience required:
  • A background in Risk and/or Finance
  • Experienced in regulatory compliance
  • Strong practical knowledge of the requirements under GDPR
  • Experienced in driving analysis to identify, prioritise and implement improvements and efficiencies, ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from services.
