A leading business in Norwich is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their Finance Department in the delivery of a finely tuned financial data strategy that will enhance the companys current business model.The objective of the data analyst will be to identify data sources within the business, enhance and develop data reports that will add value to the company, run period end reporting processesMain duties will include:Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics trackingAnalyse financial data and create financial modelsReport on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviewsAnalyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvementsWork closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare reports to import onto the accounting systemPreparation of data and ensure the data is accurateMonthly processingResolving finance queriesSkills Required:0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experienceHigh proficiency in financial modelling techniquesStrong fluency with Excel formulas and functions (pivot tables, sumifs, lookups)BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)Strong analytical and data gathering skillsGood business acumenFor more information please contact Angie at Atkinson Moss
