Job Description

Data Administrator (Financial Services), Permanent, Central Norwich, up to £20,000 DOER13 recruitment are currently supporting a market leading Norwich based financial organisation in their search for a Data Administrator/Analyst to join their busy team. You will be updating and analysing the data behind a range of financial products, collating reports and liaising with providers. In return, you will be able to develop an extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and a structured career path.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with an analytical mind and strong data entry skills to join a successful and detail-focused business, who have a strong focus on providing accurate and up to date financial reporting.Your duties will include:

  • Accurately extracting and entering financial data onto an MS Excel based system.
  • Analysing data to produce accurate financial charts and figures to be used in national industry publications.
  • Working to identify and deliver data solutions in order to improve overall efficiency.
  • Managing relationships with financial service providers, with respect to the provision of data.
  • Keeping up to date with latest financial news and product change so these can be summarised.
  • Providing analytical support to other teams with regards to internal project and investigations.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert for specific product areas.
  • Working in collaboration with the rest of the team to deliver up to date financial information within deadlines.
  • You will have/be:
  • Recent experience of working within the financial services industry, ideally in a retail banking or mortgage broking environment.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of relevant personal financial or mortgage products.
  • Highly numerical with accurate data entry skills, coupled with advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Confidence in handling large volumes of data in a clear and structured way.
  • Professional and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive in your approach to identifying and implementing improvements to data efficiency.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • This is a full time, permanent position working in offices based in central Norwich.
