Job Description

Were pleased to be recruiting for a nationally renowned financial services company with an enviable list of clients and a reputation for developing pioneering technology.This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience in financial journalism to manage our clients Daily News Bulletin.The Daily News Bulletin goes out to all our clients customers every weekday morning by 9.00am at the latest and is read by over 70,000 financial professionals in banks, building societies and regulators. The early morning email provides all the top financeindustry news.You will need to work closely with the data & analytics team to ensure the product news is up to date but the pick of stories and financial industry news will be up to you!Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as Editor for the Daily News Bulletin and ensure it goes to press on time every weekday.
  • Sourcing financial news on a continual basis throughout the day.
  • To be the point of contact for information on Movers and Shakers within the industry.
  • To ensure all information is accurate.
  • To be part of the Editorial team, sharing insight within the industry.
Personal Specification:With previous experience in financial journalism, the successful applicant will have a diploma in production journalism, NCTJ-accredited journalism qualification or equivalent experience. Ideally, familiar with personal finance products, a good eye for detailand an ability to concentrate for long periods, the Editor will naturally, be deadline aware.The successful applicant will take total ownership of the Daily News Bulletin and ensure the publication deadlines are met.Please note-this is a full-time office-based role in Norwich city centre.Salary is £25,000 to £30,000pa dependent on experienceFor a full list of benefits and further details about the role, please get in touch!
