Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are currently looking for a Conveyancing Executive in Aylsham. The successful candidate will be working in the Residential Property department. The ideal Candidate:• An experienced Residential Property Solicitor/Legal Executive • Have excellent marketing, networking, and business generation skills. • Can develop positive relationships with clients and manage their expectations.• Possess commercial and financial awareness. • Have good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Have effective oral and written communication skills. • Be IT literate and competent in the use of Case Management systems • Can prioritise, meet tight deadlines and to manage time effectively. • Have the ability and desire to undertake Business Development activities • Committed to providing outstanding client service. • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to work as part of a team and in line with the firms culture and values. • Be willing to learn to acquire new skills.Responsibilities:• Undertake fee earning work at a level commensurate with your knowledge and experience and make a profitable contribution to the Residential Conveyancing team• Manage all client work in accordance with the relevant regulatory body and the firms systems and procedures. • Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously, and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs. • To be fully self-supporting in all administrative duties.• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all documentation and information of the firm and its clients. • Achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording. • Undertake financial control about cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures. • Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations. • Take personal responsibility for ensuring sufficient knowledge to 2 of 2 undertake the tasks performed and where uncertainty exists seek training or other corrective activity. • Attend all staff training courses and internal office meetings, as and when required. • Be prepared to work outside your normal working hours whenever deemed reasonably necessary by the firm for the proper performance of your duties. • Identify ways of improving business and communicate these to the firms Management.• Be involved in work development together with any marketing activities. • Report any defects regarding decor, faulty office equipment, stationery. • Identify ways of improving business and communicate these to the firms Management.
