How doesbeing paid for 100% of your hours, but only work 80% sound *Plant the seed to your future growth, with day one eligibility to our Journey to Management programmeRole: Childrens Residential Shift LeaderSalary:Up to £26,395.20 per annum dependent on experience/qualificationsHours: Full-time; Permanent(40 hours per week, Monday to Friday9.00am5.00pm, with on call responsibilities)Unlock your potential -We make the incredible happen!Options Autism are recruiting a Childrens Residential Shift Leader to join our team based inNorwich, Norfolk.Acorn Park is situated in the beautiful village of Banham in Norfolk. Acorn Park is a multi-site with a DfE registered specialist school for children and young people with Autism and related disabilities or difficulties. Also within the grounds are 8 individualchildrens homes. Each home holds its own speciality ranging from support non-verbal children all the way through to high functioning young people who are learning independence for adult life. The Quadrant is 6 semi-independent flats for children and youngpeople who are ready to begin their journey to adulthood with support from the dedicated team to learn life skills and about life in the community.This home within commuting distance from Norwich, Attleborough, Thetford and surrounds.Our aim is tobuild incredible futures by giving our children and young people opportunities to develop their life skills and personal interests, by supporting them to fulfil their potential.Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiencesfor those we look after and for everyone in our team!Our next Childrens Residential Shift Leader will be someone who has:

  • Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma - Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a residential setting
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Childrens Act and Quality Care Standards
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams
  • Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
