Job Description

JOB TITLE: Facilities OfficerPay: £21,575 - £21,968Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday / full time contract variable shift patternThis post will be required to work a shift pattern for 7.4 hours per day on rota between the hours of 7.00 am to 22.30 pm. Examples of rota 7:00-15:00, 9:00-17:00, 12:30-20:30, 10:00-18:00. Shift system covers Monday to Friday but some Saturday cover forlettings is also a requirement of this role.Benefits:

  • 30 days leave plus bank holidays
  • Candidate will have to undergo enhanced DBS check
JOB ROLE:
  • Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager or other designated member of leadership team to ensure that the premises are appropriately maintained, secured and fit for purpose, including the operation of fire and burglar alarm systems.
  • To undertake maintenance and repairs as directed by the Facilities Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To complete the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
  • To record and maintain the test records of all PAT testing
  • To complete minor repairs to electrical equipment failing electrical testing
  • To undertake the replacement of electrical fittings (ceiling lights, light switches, electrical sockets etc)
  • To undertake repairs to emergency lighting
  • To complete all minor building repairs
  • To support and advise on the work of the caretakers as required and directed by the Trust Facilities Manager
  • To support with building security
