REED are recruiting 2 Care Assistantson behalf of Doughtys Almshouse, part of Norwich Consolidated Charities.Doughtys provide housing alongside extra care and support to people in 57 modern, self-contained flats in Central Norwich, all with access to stunning gardens and communal areas.Residents at Doughtys Almshouse can choose to use various additional supporting services to meet their individual requirements. The focus at Doughtysis on person-centred care, and Care Assistants can provide full personal care to residents or just simply admin/clerical support. Every care plan is tailored to suit the individual. The current CQC rating for the care provided at Doughtys Almshouse is GOOD.TheCare Assistantrole is a permanent, hourly paid role with a rate of £11.20/hr, working approx 25-30hrs per week, and comes with great benefits including additional pension contribution and sick pay policies.You will have your rota for the entire year, allowing you to make plans well in advance.
