Job Description

Are you or someone you know looking for a role with the Ambulance serviceReed Recruitment are delighted to be representing the East of England Ambulance Service Trust to find them Call Advisors.

  • Salary: £10.42 Weekdays / £13.55 Saturday / £16.65 Sunday and Bank Holidays
  • Location: Norwich, NR6
  • Start date:asap for 12 weeks
  • Hours: Monday - Sunday, working 8 hour shifts (with break) variable between 7am and 11pm
The role of a Call Advisor is to take inbound non-emergency calls from the public and organising/booking necessary services from healthcare professionals, emergency services and community organisations.About the Role and Responsibilities:
  • Answer operational calls that come into the contact centre.
  • Provide accurate assistance over the telephone using appropriate software/triaging tools.
  • Book services via other organisations.
  • Interaction with public and professionals.
  • Some patients might be difficult to handle with sensitive subject matters.
Emergency Call Handler Qualities:
  • Happy to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
  • A great telephone manner
  • Good use of computers
  • Strong listening skills
  • An empathetic nature
  • Organised
