Job Description

Rthirteen are pleased to be working with a progressive and forward-thinking water services company in their search for a CAD Technician / Draughtsman. Your role will be the preparation of detailed drawings that meet specifications for a range of products, reviewing technical drawings supplied by customers and revising designs.This role will suit someone with similar previous experience as well as AutoCAD, Solidworks and Inventor skills and a high level of technical accuracy.If you are looking for a company who is innovative, constantly improving the services they offer, supportive of their team and are always striving towards the future, then this may be a perfect fit for you!Duties to include:

  • Preparing to a high level of accuracy, approval drawings of precast concrete headwalls and all relevant accessories including gratings, flap valves and handrails.
  • Working to engineer specifications to prepare drawings.
  • Prepare design drawings for new products and product development, to expand the rang of drawings available through the company.
  • Reviewing any technical drawings provided by customers.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations for the Sales Team.
  • Revising any existing drawings.
  • Discussing drawings in depth and providing technical support.
    • You will have/be:
  • Previous technician/draughtsman experience.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, Solidworks and Inventor.
  • Experience of using Tekla Tedds (or similar) structural analysis software would be desirable.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and numerical design abilities.
  • Experience of working to technical design specifications.
  • Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skill.
    • This is a full-time opportunity for an initial period of 12 month covering Maternity leave.
