Job: C# Software EngineerSalary: £40,000 Location: NorwichOur client, a leading exponent in digital product content and virtual merchandising applications on a global scale, are looking to extend their talented team by bringing in board a Software Engineer.Youll joining on of the world most trusted providers in digital content, that has been powering ecommerce solutions for over 20 years. Their mission is to enable exceptional consumer experiences, building cutting-edge solutions to empower both internal and external customers.The role calls for an experienced Full-stack Software engineer with experience working within the Microsoft technology stack. The position will suit someone who enjoys a fast paced, innovative environment where the team strive to push the limits of traditional software design and development daily. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will form part of a balanced Scrum team working on end-to-end solutions in an agile manner. The team has a strong best practice approach and are passionate about putting out only the highest quality solutions.If you have strong, hands-on experience working with C# software application development within a cloud environment, but want to continue to improve and learn more - this could very well be the next opportunity youve been waiting for. Joining one of the larger software departments in the area means that you should have a good selection of role models and peers to make sure that you continue to learn and developer as a professional and a programmer.Core technologies- C# (asp.net / .net core)- Cloud technologies (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP fine also)- JavaScript + framework (React preferred, Angular / Vue.js)- SQL Server (Understanding of data structures and Databases)- Unit testing (Moq, MSTest or NUnit)- Software Architecture / design patterns.The things were looking for from you include:- A track record of working as part of a SCRUM team within an agile environment.- Experience working across the full product lifecycle.- Experience working through code reviews and to coding standards.- Happy to participate in Sprint events and interact with stakeholders, developers and product owners alike.- Able to participate in peer code reviews- Able to work with a relative degree of freedom taking responsibility for the quality of your own code.Youll join a company that has continued to grow and thrive despite the past year, that cares about quality and best practice, whilst still maintaining a relaxed and informal environment.
