Job Description

REED are working with a highly successful organisation,a leader within their industry who have won awards for their excellent standards of customer care, recruiting for the position of Business Operations Project Manager.This is an exciting new opportunity to work closely with the Head of Operations, managing projects and delivering against business plans to ensure continuous improvement for clients, customers and colleagues.

  • Work on a variety of projects within the business, collaborating with departments, teams andleaders in delivering key business objectives.
  • Be part of a small, energetic team overseeing all operations across the company through IT, Facilities, Marketing, Business Development, HumanResources, Finance and Business Services to support an impressive and fast growing client and customer base.
  • Work with Head of Department and other key dept.leads to oversee and be involved with a variety of workstreams ensuring delivery, consistency, efficiency and driving profit.
  • Proactively highlight issues and opportunities to optimise projects.
  • Maintain a central database in establishing department project activities and tasks in negotiating changes in direction and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Track all projects and capacities on a rolling basis and report progress to the Head of Operations.
  • Play an active role in delivering business solutionsfrom monitoring apprentices and graduates, process mapping customer journeys in identifying CX improvements, arranging client hospitality events, evaluating omni-channel software service solutions withinour customer hubs, generating marketing collateral to reviewing personal development plans in identifying a firm-wide training needs analysis.
  • Ensure work is done on time and to budget. Support senior management group reporting as well as forecast and solve operational business issues in addressing business risks.
  • Work alongside and for service specialists such as our IT Manager, Business Services Manager or Marketing Manager to help them them deliver key objectives.
  • Work alongside the Head of Operations to report on profitability and new sources of revenue.
  • Work with external partners in delivering business solutions where there is value to be gained in outsourcing activities to build knowledge and momentum.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar professional services role working on a variety of projects, demonstratingyour ability to deliver against objectives.
  • Team working and motivating others to do so.
  • Strategicthinking and very hands-on in your activity.
  • Ability to thrive and work independently at fast pace
  • Agile across multiple projects, being able to multitask!
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
  • Energetic and take a sociable and proactive approach to working within the team, recognising that setbacks are inevitable
  • and resilience and a positive attitude will achieve greater success.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to quickly and creatively solve issues (both technical and operational) and you will have a proactive approach to planning and scheduling.
Permanent full time position, working Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (37.5 hours)Package
  • Salary of £30,000 -£35,000 dependant on experience
