Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Development Specialist Do you have a passion for generating new businessLook no further, this role could be for you!About the RoleThe company have an exciting opportunity for someone to support our thriving team in aiding and supporting the business in an exciting time of growth. You will be working closely with the Senior Management Team to engage with new clients and stakeholdersto acquire new business via direct negotiations or as part of the bidding taskforce.The right individual will be joining the business at a pivotal time enabling 2023 and beyond to be a period of significant growth for all our Service Lines.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Travel across the East of England to acquire new business & attend market engagement events
  • Initiate and develop relationships with potential and existing stakeholders
  • Bid writing
  • Tender & Framework insight
  • Support the growth of our services
  • Work alongside the Head of Care and Service Operations in maintaining and building internal and external relations
  • Build and help maintain a client base
  • Develop an acquisition strategy to deliver growth on a year-to-year basis
  • Proactively network with other health and social Care providers and local councils
About you
  • Proven Business Development experience within the health and social care sector
  • Ability to spot/forecast opportunities for growth and development
  • Ability to organise a high workload
  • High attention to detail
  • A confident, driven self-starter
  • Ability to strike a balance between proactive and reactive
  • Ability to build exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3yrs+ experience working in a business development role or similar
  • Experience working within Health & Social Care
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Be passionate about making a real difference to young peoples lives, staff morale and high-quality service
