Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectorsJob Title:BricklayingTutor(Trainee or Qualified Tutor opportunity)(Trainee or Qualified Tutor opportunity)Location:Norwich- Centre basedSalary:up to £32,000 (Depending on skills and experience) Type:Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification in Bricklaying, suchas an NVQ level 2 or above.
  • Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET and/or AssessorsAward- fully funded and supported by employer
  • Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners
  • Must hold solid occupational competency within Bricklaying.
  • Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
  • Deliver vocational training within Bricklayingto learners who arelooking to improve their employability prospects, skills and knowledge.
  • Delivery will be in small groups and include providing support with long term career goals.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learnersskills knowledge and behaviours
  • Monitor learner attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
  • Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.
Personal Skills:
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
