NXTGEN are working with one of my practice clients who are looking to expand their accounts team by creating a brand new Bookkeeping role due to their recent successes. The successful bookkeeper will work with a range of different clients from varying industriesproviding a quality all round Bookkeeping service, including maintaining the integrity of the Purchase & Sales ledgers, producing monthly management accounts, invoice processing and client queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is wantinga broad role and wants to work within a friendly and supportive team.Key responsibilities will include:- Be responsible for all bookkeeping tasks required by your portfolio of clients- Prepare monthly management accounts for clients with accompanying commentary - Processing of both purchase and sales invoices- Prepare Vat returns- Provide reports to clients and the Portfolio manager as requiredThe successful candidate will ideally be studying towards their AAT qualification (or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar bookkeeping role. This role would ideally suit someone coming from a pure bookkeeping, practice or outsourcing type background.Candidates will have excellent communication skills and will be confident when dealing with client queries. Experience using Xero and/or Sage 50 is highly desirable combined with good Excel skills. For the successful candidate, opportunities for further studysupport are available combined with progression within the business.
