Job: Business Intelligence Developer Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (for the right person this might be flexible)Location: Hybrid - Norwich office / Home.We have a new requirement for a SQL, and data visualisation enthusiast to join a growing Business intelligence team working on a fantastic roadmap of work involving some Data Science, and Data Engineering. The business are a well-known organisation, strivingto move forward from a technical and cultural point of view to better serve their customers and develop a great place to work. A key part of the role will be designing and maintaining solutions to improve operational efficiencies and data quality using MicrosoftsPower Platform and other low-code products.The role represents one of the most genuine business intelligence roles in the area, working in an incredibly agile approach, the team work closely with the organisation to help provision and visualise data for the organisation to operate efficiently andeffectively.The BI team are working with some interesting tool-sets at the moment, taking a product development approach to data and business intelligence. As a result, the role will provide fresh challenges regularly, and ensure that you dont become institutionalisedby working on a singular system.Some of the tools youll get to use within the role include: - SQL Server - Microsoft Power BI - Microsoft PowerApps and Flow - Datawarehouse - SSIS, SSRS, and also SSAS (potential) - Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS etc) - ETL tools - SharePoint- Data Science / Data Engineering tools.This role is not a DBA, its not a report developer, but a data position with aspects of Business analysis, problem solving, and development. Youll help build solutions to increase quality, and efficiency, provide insights into performance and help to automatereporting using Microsoft tools. It will suit someone who is genuinely passionate about data and the enabling a business to get information from that data.
