Increased rates available for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join an Adult Acute NHS Ward in Norwich!**£150 NEW NURSE SIGN UP BONUS***Do you know someone who would be interested in this role We offer a £250 referral bonus per successful candidate that is referred*Temporary pay rate Band 5: *Days: £19ph ltd*Nights & Saturdays: £24ph ltd*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £29ph ltdHours and length of contract: *Full time mixed shifts*The wards operate 24/7 with a flexible shift pattern* Shift times are: *Early shift 07:00 - 15:00*Late 13:00 - 21:00*Night shift 20:30 - 07:30*Long days 07:00 - 07:30*Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension)*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP.Daily Duties: Based in central Norwich, the ward is a 16 bedded unit for both males and females experiencing acute mental health problems. These service users are deemed to be experiencing acute mental illness and their risks cannot be managed safely in the community.They ward will provide assessment and treatment services for acute mental disorders and rehabilitation including:*Schizophrenia*Depression*Acute Anxiety*Personality Disorder*Bipolar DisorderYou will be working on the Acute Adult ward, to identify the most appropriate treatment and recovery plans and support service users through their journey to return back to the community. The ward benefits from the dedicated input of an Acute Psychiatric Consultant and a full multi-disciplinary team (Occupational Therapists, Complimentary Therapists, Pharmacist and Psychologist). Working alongside the nursing team they have support workers and administrators and receive regular input from the home treatment team.
