Job Title: Audit Semi SeniorCompany: Top 30 Accountancy PracticeLocation: Norwich, United KingdomRole Overview:Join our clients Top 30 Accountancy Practice in Norwich as a Semi Senior Auditor. This role requires technical proficiency and a drive to expand your knowledge through challenging assignments. You will be responsible for accurate auditing of client accounts,gradually gaining more independence as you grow in experience. Additionally, you will lead moderate-sized projects and contribute to larger assignments as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct high-quality and precise audits, raising and resolving queries as necessary.- Assist in larger audit assignments, completing assigned sections to a high standard.- Prepare accounts and draft tax computations, liaising with experts to address knowledge gaps.- Plan audits, identify risks, and propose appropriate audit plans.- Finalise accounts and tax computations to minimise additional work requirements.- Conduct thorough and well-documented audit tests, identifying any issues.- Maintain communication with the assignment leader/manager, reporting progress and highlighting significant matters.- Become a resource for the team, providing support and expertise as needed.- Collaborate with the assignment leader/manager and handle client interactions professionally.- Stay updated on technical developments and new legislation, applying knowledge effectively.- Troubleshoot routine problems and make recommendations to minimise manager involvement.- Assist in training junior team members and oversee their work.Requirements:- ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified.- Experience in planning and working on audits.- Client-facing experience.- Up-to-date knowledge of direct and indirect taxes.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Benefits:- Full ACA/ACCA study support.- Access to soft skills development program.- Performance reviews every 12 months.- Mentorship opportunities.Additional Information:- Core business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.- Travel required within the region for client visits, occasionally involving overnight stays.- Familiarity with Microsoft, Caseware, Alphatax, Practice Engine, Sage, Xero, and MS Teams.Apply now with your CV or contact Haidee
