NXTGEN are working with a leading Accountancy firm who are going through an extremely exciting period of growth following a number of recent business wins. They are now looking to recruit an new Audit Assistant Manager to join their Corporate Team, as thesuccessful candidate you will play a key role in the delivery of a quality Audit service to both new and existing clients working closely with the Audit Manager. This is a mixed role which will involve both Audit and Accounts preparation, supporting clientswith month end accounts, Tax and VAT returns. As Audit Assistant Manager, you will join a firm which is very passionate about client delivery and providing a top quality procedures.Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Plan and complete annual Audits for a varied client portfolio- Support with reviewing work and working closely on the more complex accounts- Work closely with complex clients to identify the need for increased financial controls - Production of month end and annual company accounts for smaller clients including sole traders and limited companies- Work with colleagues in Tax departments to complete and submit corporate tax returns. - Mentor and support junior team members with their own personal developmentThe successful candidate will ideally be a newly qualified accountant or have 1/2 years post qualified experience (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with previous Audit experience. You will be comfortable in a client facing capacity with the ability to manage clientrelationships on a day to day basis. As the role develops there will be an opportunity to support business development activities and as such, candidates will need excellent communication skills. Experience with cloud based accounting packages would also beadvantageous.
