Job Description

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with a leading independent multi-disciplinary consultancy in the East of England on the hire of an Associate Director for their team in Norwich.The company celebrated its 15-year milestone last year and through numerous new clients and projects landing, they continue the need to grow the team. The company works on projects at all scales within town, semi-rural and rural contexts, across a varietyof sectors that include residential, commercial, education, infrastructure, renewable energy, student accommodation, leisure and mixed-use developments!As an Associate Director, you will have the responsibility of being the key point of contact for clients, delivering planning advice on planning applications and projects. You will join the senior leadership in driving forward business and supporting juniorteam members.Qualifications & Experience

  • An RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • MRTPI status.
  • Commensurate experience at Associate Director level.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong client liaison skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong report writing skills and experience of delivering recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning process.
