Job Description

Accounts Assistant - NorwichFull Time, permanent position - Hybrid workingKeeler Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Norwich City Centre who are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant.The Accounts Assistant will be reporting to Accounts Receivable Manager and working as part of an Accounts Payable team.Key duties will include:

  • Daily raising of sales invoices
  • Obtaining approval for, and inputting debit notes to finance system
  • Auditing proof of delivery paperwork received from Haulier to ensure all orders have confirmation of delivery
  • Checking the bank accounts and posting cash received to the finance systems on a daily basis
  • Issuing a daily invoicing and cash summary to Directors
  • Preparing and issuing weekly and monthly statements to customers
  • Build relationships with customers and assist with credit control as required
  • Processing Accounts Payable invoices throughout the month, as required
  • Creating Commercial Invoices for export customers
  • Daily management of accounts email mailboxes
  • Maintaining customer records of contact details, payment terms, credit limits etc.
  • Admin and electronic filing to provide complete audit trail from order to cash
