Job Description

Pure are working exclusively with a unique and forward-thinking Accountancy Practice based in Norwich.Triple Bottom Line Accounting have a unique business that is focused on the planet, people and prosperity, not just making profits.Founded in 2009, the dedicated team have created a progressive accountancy practice that is helping to empower its clients to achieve the best outcomes.TBLA have a philosophy based on adopting a learning approach to help clients succeed in a rapidly evolving epoch, in which doing the right thing comes before profit. This practice is advocating for environmental and social change within the profession and beyond.Thefirm has grown quickly in the last years and now has over of 500 clients. Part of TBLAs ongoing growth strategy is to recruit an experienced Practice Manager to join the team and specialise on the advisory side of their delivery. This appointment will be critical in supporting the continued delivery of the firms specialist serviceand will also give someone a fantastic platform to build on their career.You will be a client-facing senior manager leading the advisory services within this rapidly expanding state of the art digital accountancy practice. Triple Bottom Line Accounting is based in the Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. It is boldly adopting an ESG approach to business focusing on the Triple Bottom Line.They work a four-day week, use the latest software, and the team works together as a learning organisation. They are different, are youKey responsibilities:

  • Automated client bookkeeping services
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Business modelling
  • EIS/SEIS
  • Company secretarial including share capital changes
  • EMI
  • R&D credits.
  • Advising larger clients
  • Client management of larger clients.
  • Part of the senior management team.
  • Coaching and developing team members.
  • Projects and managing change.
  • Revenue assurance.
QualificationsQualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or international equivalent)Necessary skills
  • Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality and service delivery.
  • Strong motivation to develop and coach junior team members
  • Demonstrate continuous self-development.
  • Coaching and developing junior members of staff.
  • Actively contribute to practice development expansion and thought leadership.
  • Display an inclusive, collaborative approach and operates respectfully with colleagues, clients and the wider community
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Digital native
ExperienceYou must be able to demonstrate your experience in an accounting advisory function, including:
  • Technical accounting experience with IFRS, UK GAAP and UK Companies Act and UK taxation.
  • Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
  • Experience in leading teams and projects.
  • Experience in leading and developing client relationships.
  • Problem-solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations.
  • Proven track record on a personal or professional level for advocating for environmental and or social justice or a genuine recognition of the climate and ecological emergency
