Job Description

Group Finance Systems Specialist - SAP BPC6 Months - Up to £550 Inside IR35Working with a global Manufacturing Group with 26 operations in 12 countries who are looking to add a group finance systems analyst on a 6 month day rate contract.Purpose of the role:Reporting to the Group Finance Systems Manager, this is a crucial technical role in the Group Finance team, requiring a very strong system and consolidation skillset. The role provides significant opportunity for the successful candidate to gain exposureto the financial workings of a FTSE listed Group with international operating businesses.The principal purpose of the role is to manage, enhance and maintain the Groups Consolidation and Management Information Systems.In the near term, the Group Finance team is implementing a new Group financial consolidation system. This role will be heavily involved in the implementation process and is therefore vital in ensuring its success.Principal Responsibilities:

  • System Administrator of SAP-BPC (Consolidation System) and CXO-Cockpit (Management Information System www.cxo-cockpit.com) for the Company. This includes:
    • Management of the system which includes Development, Testing and Deployment.
    • Promoting best practice use of these systems. Providing regular support, maintenance/updates, and training to the global user community.
    • Responsible for addressing and promptly resolving daily help-desk requests from subsidiaries.
    • Delivery of continuous improvement across the entire management reporting process and systems, including working closely with external consultants where applicable.
    • Collaborate across key Group functions such as Tax, Treasury, HR and Health & Safety, in order to assist and support the development of dedicated functionalities and reports in CXO and other systems.
    • Review of output reports from the systems and liaise with Group Systems Manager to fix any issues.
  • Assist the Group Finance Systems Manager with the monthly financial submissions from operations (including the Head Office) and the monthly management reporting to Senior executives.
  • Assist the Group Finance Systems Manager with quarterly forecast Group consolidated management accounts, annual budget, and various strategic forecasts.
  • Support other ad-hoc finance projects and analytical reviews.
Experience and Education:Essential:
  • Experience of EPM consolidation systems for example SAP BPC, Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning, PBCS), Board, Anaplan, Onestream, CCH Tagetik, TM1, SAP BFC, etc.
Preferred:
  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Proven track record of project delivery.
  • Experience of working in a large plc environment.
  • Experience of financial system administration.
  • Experience of IFRS accounting.
  • Experience using dashboards like CXO cockpit.
  • Involved in implementation of a new consolidation system.
  • Experience of working within the international manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with Sage IntAcct.
  • Strong Excel Skills
