Job Description

My client is currently based in a primary school in Northolt, UB5 and seeking an experienced Maintenance and Cleaning Leader.Monday - Friday 6am - 10am.20 hours a week. Temporary to Permanent£11.00- £12.00 an hour depending on experience.Working under the supervision of their business manager you will play a critical role in the safety of the school site. You will hold responsibilityfor the opening of the school every day, closing may be required in the absenceof staff absence, whilstalso being point of call for emergencies in the absence of the Site Supervisor.You will also act as firstaider for staff working during the earlier hours of the day.Duties:

  • To take responsibility for the opening of the school on a daily and acting as a key holder in theevent of emergency call out.
  • To supervise and monitor the cleaning of the school premises to the highest possible standard referring any issues to the School Business Manager.
  • To clean designated areas of the school.
  • To ensure that all duties are carried out with due diligence to health and safety procedures.
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • To oversee contractor when they are on site and report back to the School Business Manager and Site Supervisor.
