Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Caretaker opportunity at one of our residential developments based in Northolt (UB5).You will have the responsibility of delivering high levels of customer service to all residents, guests, contractors, and the clients. As well as carrying out routine checks and maintenance of the building, youll also be a real people person and go thatlittle bit further to get to know the residents, build strong relationships whilst maintaining a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.As primary contact for the residents you will be on hand to provide the support they need at the place they call home.Ideally, youll have all or most of the below experience:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
  • Significant experience providing exemplary levels of customer service.
  • Experience in managing contractors and building works within a busy development.
  • Awareness of general fire, health & safety and security.
  • Proven ability to and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
  • A.O.V. smoke vent checks monthly
  • Emergency lighting monthly checks, as well as blocks and car parks
  • Monthly visual checks of pump rooms
  • Fire door checks monthly
  • Riser cupboards checks weekly
  • Daily checks of gas rooms
  • Lift lines checks weekly checks
  • Monthly landlord meter readings
  • Changing light bulbs in lifts where necessary
  • Adjusting door closers when needed
  • Replacing night latches on car park doors and FB1 and FB2 locks on riser cupboards, where applicable
  • Replacing of any broken door handles
  • Filling any holes in walls
  • Painting of reception areas and corridors
  • Rotating bins
  • Litter picking the car parks daily
  • Taking any calls from residents from work mobile phone
  • Checking CCTV when needed
  • Jet washing main entrances
  • Changing door entry codes
  • Cleaning out gullies in car parks when needed
  • Resetting car park gates when not opening
  • Meeting with contractors when on site.
