All employees who join the business will enjoy all of the training schemes and development programs the company has to offer, alongside a generous hourly rate.Duties and Responsibilities* The role involves some manual handling and the ability to withstand working in cold storage conditions on a daily basis the position requires an alert disposition, working in the vicinity of forklifts and moving machinery* To lead the Hygiene Operatives, to ensure the completion of hygiene schedules to ensure the factory and environment are maintained to a high standard.* Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are maintained and improved.* To be clear about what is expected of the individuals in the team* Maintaining excellent communication throughout the department in order to ensure the hygiene plans are adhered to* Ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards are embedded throughout the team.* Responsible for completing the hygiene control sheets/schedules* Responsible for training new staff* All cleaning materials are put back in the Hygiene storeroom and in good condition at the end of the hygiene window* All cleaning chemicals are put back in the chemical store at the end of the shiftEssential experience:* Previous experience working as a Hygiene Operative in a Manufacturing or industrial environment* Experience leading a team Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
