Job Description

A Senior Bookkeeperis sought by an established service business based in Gravesend, North Kent.Reporting to and working closely with the Directors, duties and responsibilities are as follows:-

  • Accounts to Trial Balance using Sage Line 50 software
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger management
  • VAT / HRMC payments
  • Cashflow management
  • Overseea weekly payroll using Sage payroll
  • Bank and Balance Sheetreconciliations
  • Prepayments & accruals
You willbe overseeing a part-time accounts assistant and liaising with an external Accountancy firm when needed. The ideal person should have proven experiencein a similar role, the AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.Some MS Excel skillsare essential coupled with good working knowledge of Sage Line 50. This role is office-based a standard 35 hour week. The business offers 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and there is plenty of free parking on site.
