Job Description

Technical Team Leader (Property Surveying)Northallerton £38,241 per annum plus vehicle includedFull Time, PermanentOur client has a new opportunity available for a Technical Team Leader (Property Surveying) to join their Property Services team and be responsible for providing a high quality and efficient property surveying service to assess the maintenance and repairrequirements of the organisations assets.The roleAs Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, managing and monitoring a team of Property Surveyors as well as the day to day on-site management of contractors delivering maintenance works across our stock. You will take ownership of all repair andmaintenance activities being carried out to a designated selection of customers homes and communal areas and ensure they are delivering the required service standards and achieving value for money in line with relevant legislation and policy.As Technical Team Leader you will also undertake property inspections, diagnose repairs, identify required remedial works, specify materials and manage remedial works through to successful completion ensuring an excellent customer experience is deliveredat all times.What do you need to have

  • A full driving licence
  • HNC in Building Studies or recognised trades qualification.
  • Experience working in the housing repair/maintenance sector.
  • Experience of conducting surveys
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience
  • A dedication to providing a high level customer service.
  • Ability to use a computerised repair and property database and Microsoft Word/Excel software.
  • Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions across all trades.
  • Ability to accurately specify maintenance and improvement works, including Schedule of Rates and provide technical drawings and plans.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and regulations.
