We are looking for confident Teaching to work inSecondary schools inIslington on a flexible short-term and long-term contract basis.The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor you will work in secondary schools to provide support subject teachers by covering classes and ensuring students are working on tasks. This is a key role within secondary schools and almost every secondary school now engages cover supervisorsto cover absences and staff when they are required for other duties.This is great opportunity to work on flexible basis and gain experience within schools. The Cover Supervisor is in sole charge of the classroom control and ultimately the safety of pupilswithin the class.To be a Cover Supervisor you do not need anyformal qualifications but you must have experience working with children or young people of secondary age. You will need to be able to provide 2 references in relation to working with young people and hold a DBSEnhanced disclosure or be prepared to undertake a new DBS enhanced check.If you are an experienced cover supervisor looking for more work, or have experience working with young people and are interested in gaining experience in secondary schools as a cover supervisor, please apply with an up-to-date CV today.We have a policy to respond to all applications within three working days.
