Job Description

O2 Forum Kentish Town are looking for a Box Office Assistant to help provide a high level of customer service at all times to both customers and clients. You will work as a willing and flexible team member, assisting where required and able to maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of the operation.You will report to the Box Office Manager, General and Assistant Manager in the effective management of the Venue Box Office.Academy Music Group, part of Live Nation Entertainment, is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, eCommerce and artist management. Live Nation seeks to innovate and enhance the live entertainment experience for artists and fans: before, during and after the show.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • To contribute to the effective running of the business
  • To ensure the smooth running of the Venue Box Office
  • Liaise with the Duty Manager and promoters to pass on all relevant sales and show information as needed
  • To assist the Box Office Manager in liaison with the Group Ticketing Manager and Venue Manager for all Ticketmaster operation and system matters, including the correct reporting of all system errors and software bugs
  • To assist the Box Office Manager in liaising with the TM Distribution Manager regarding Ticket distribution and sales information
  • To ensure that all events run smoothly, that all credit card collections are handed out and that where applicable, tickets are made available for sale on the night of an event
  • All financial information including credit card receipts, signed collection vouchers and all unread/void tickets to be kept for a period of 3 years and to be made accessible to finance staff as required
  • To provide promoters with guest list assistance as needed
  • To process bookings for customers with access requirements
  • Process postal booking for all venue events
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times
  • To carry out reception duties as and when required
  • To assist the Box Office Coordinator in ensuring listings and internal show related information us updated for every show and that the FOH ticket on sale listings and post boxes are up to date
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties as required
  • Represent the company as required
  • TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
  • Previous experience of working within a similar environment
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work flexible and unsocial hours including evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve
