THE BUSINESSWestray Recruitment Group is delighted to bring to you a client who are looking for Warehouse Assistants to work on an ongoing basis for our client based on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate.You will be working for a vibrant brand name who are specialists in their field and are expanding rapidly. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is wanting to work in warehousing and we are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity. Due to business growth the business willbe in a position to provide key temporary workers permanent employment moving forward.The role itself is fast paced requiring good levels of accuracy. Candidates are requested to work a 4 on 2 off rotation. Hours of work are 6:30am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-9:30pm. However, we also need Candidates who are flexible to pick up additional shifts tomeet business demands.THE ROLE
  • Decanting products from pallets
  • Allocating stock to racking and storage systems
  • Pricing products
  • Picking and packing goods in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • Following a pick sheet and updating stock records
  • Operating a hand held scanner
THE PERSON
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
  • The ability to work with accuracy
  • Flexible to work various shift times
  • Physically able to carry out various warehousing duties
  • Keen to develop skill sets
  • Excellent team player who can work efficiently in a wide variety of situations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide timely and constructive feedback
