Job Description

Reed procurement and supply chain are excited to be working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business based near to the North Walsham area who have a glowing reputation in their field of expertise and are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on a full time and permanent basis with hybrid working pattern available.Having worked with this business on different recruitment drives, we can share a wealth of information about their values and the culture of the company which focuses on employee wellbeing and development of team members.Supply Chain Planner duties and responsibilities:

  • Contact main principals daily for production updates.
  • Complete production plans in line with principal lead-timesprocedures.
  • Work to on time in full for stock deliveries.
  • Hold weekly conference call with key customers and suppliers on stocks and future productions and manage the actions with the principals
  • Introduce & manage analysis of service levels for all a/cs & report to the supply chain manager on a monthly basis.
  • Draw down and analyse customer forecasts and plan in line. Tracking sales vs forecast and reporting to the supply chain manager and account manager to avoid over stock and aid in discussions with the customer.
  • Placing all stock orders on the system
  • Manage all launches and delists in line with the project time line.
  • Introduce a standard supplier plan and yield report for all sites
  • Produce weekly at risk report and circulate to Supply Chain Manager
