Job Description

Case WorkerSalary: £24,900 per annumBased in Hull (with travel to Beverley & Bridlington)Fully Licensed Drivers with access to own vehicle is essentialThe successful candidate with develop relationships with the Probation Practitioners supporting Service Users to improve their personal wellbeing.Duties

  • Hold the professional relationship with the Responsible Probation Officer (RO) to support Service Users (SU) through one-to-one and group interventions
  • Conduct an initial assessment with all referred Service Users to assess the appropriate level of support required for their personal wellbeing journey
  • Prepare & agree individual action plans, following initial assessment, and regularly review progress with the SU
  • Deliver in a variety of venues including Ingeus community venues, probation offices across the Region
  • Working closely with the RO contribute to/provide evidence for assessment, sentence/risk
  • Respond appropriately to challenging behaviour (including Unacceptable Behaviour) in order to de-escalate tension, to enable Service User to manage strong feelings and to ensure their own safety and that of others
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
  • Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
  • The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
