Job Description

Are you a Maths ECT looking for a great school to start your teaching career inAre you passionate about Mathematics, able to bring the subject alive Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of learners We have an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher to join a great setting in North Shields. The school is well - regardedand is situated in easy reach for both cars and public transportThe Role :

  • Plan and Deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to different abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the maths curriculum.
  • Monitor and track student attainment and progress, ensuring targets are met.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
What we need from you :
  • UK Recognised teaching Qualification:PGCE with QTS or QTLS, or working towards QTS.
  • Bachelors degree in mathematics with teaching qualifications or equivalent.
  • NQTs, Overseas Trained Teachers with UK work rights, and experienced Instructors are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong command of various mathematical concepts and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Strong organisationaland time-management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Supportive and flexible disposition.
  • Availability 5 days per week.
  • Possession of a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update service or willingness to obtain one through GSL Education.
  • A fully checkable work history.
