The organisation in question is going through an exciting period of growth and expanding their operations. The business is looking to recruit a Team Leader who has proven experience of developing and upskilling their teams, whilst getting positive results.THE ROLEIn your role as a Team Leader you will be responsible for and need to:Organise the work force to hit production targetsMonitor all aspects of ProductionMaintain and develop effective production schedulesMonitor the performance of individual team membersAnalyse and organise training for team membersBe involved with back to works, absence management, recruitment & selection, grievance and discipline, ensuring compliance with H&S and manufacturing standards, assisting with appraisals, etcChampion health and safetyEnsure that 5s principles are followed at all timesSee that good manufacturing practices are adopted and followed by all team membersYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEProven experience of working in a similar role is requiredYou must have the ability to effectively manage and guide a team of between 10 and 20 OperatorsBe able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of modern manufacturing techniques, especially 5sYou must hold excellent verbal communication skillsTHE CONTRACTThis role will centre around a form of continentals known as the Du Pont system designed to give the successful application more weekends off and greater periods of rest days. The working hours are 7am-7pm days and 7pm-7am nights.THE SALARYThis role comes with a competitive salary of £27,000 per year along with a bonus scheme.
