The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist firm based in the North Shields area. These roles are for long term and will be offered a permanent position after a completion of a successful trial period.

The Role

Attend pre shift team briefings to discuss targets and deadlines for the shift ahead
Able to work individually and as part of a team to meet company deadlines
Operation of counterbalance forklift truck
Carry out safety checks on forklift prior to use, ensure smooth running
Operating of forklift, transporting stock around the warehouse
Stacking and moving of products
Carrying out picking and packing of items
Manual duties throughout the day if needed
Repetitive visual quality inspections, checking for any issues and faults
Picking and packing duties, labelling, and scanning
Packing and trunking of items, allocating in correct place throughout the warehouse
Production duties, hand assembly carried out throughout the day
General housekeeping duties, ensure workspace is kept clean and safe at all times

The Person

Excellent attitude and attendance required in order to gain a permanent contract
Should hold full counterbalance forklift licence
