They are a business that boasts a remit of stunning care homes that aim to provide high quality care for its elderly residents. My client is looking for a Deputy Manager/ Clinical Lead to support the Home Manager in the overall running of a purpose-built care home in the North Shields, with a particular focus of overseeing the day to day running the service. Currently, the service needsan experienced Clinical Lead with strong leadership skills to hit the ground running. They have a dedicated staff team with a well-respected reputation in the local area, including an excellent network of external professionals connected to the home. The Candidate As Clinical Lead you will be expected to: Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and all services are in compliance with Local Authorities, Councils and the correct regulatory bodies including but not limited to CQC, national care standards and NMC.Employ, train, and develop staff at all levels.Deploying staff in accordance with the needs of the home and elderly people.Identify and implement methods of improvement for the Home and staff.Undertaking administrative duties such as staff records, governance, and residents records.Liaise with internal and external professionals such as families and staff to ensure needs of the residents are being met.Ensure referral protocols and practices are in place.Essential criteriaCurrent NMC registration.Requirements Passion for elderly care.Good CQC knowledge.Current Deputy or Clinical Lead or Charge Nurse.Excellent Leadership skills.Nurse qualified (RN). Location This role is based in North Shields and is commutable from Newcastle upon Tyne, Marden, Killingworth, Whitley Bay, Hazlerigg, Longbenton, East Holywell, Seaton Sluice, Annitsford, Jarrow, Wallsend and Tynemouth. Interview Process Stage one: informal telephone or Teams conversation with the Home Manager. Stage two: face to face or Teams meeting with Home Manager and Regional Manager.
