Job Description

A fabulous permanent role is now available for a leading niche motor insurance company based in North Shields.To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates who have experience with handling a high level of inbound calls. This is a great opportunity to create a career within the Insurance sector.Full Training will be given.The Role:Manages inbound telephone calls from policyholders and third partys in a professional manner to quickly ascertain any liability and move forward in a positive manner encapsulating all the relevant information to reduce any potential costs to the claim.Makes outbound calls when appropriate to assist in promoting early closure of files.Accurate data recording allowing speedy process of claims through to closure to obtain optimum settlement in accordance with targets and statutory limits.Accurate setting up of new claims with all preliminary tasks completedApply correct reserves and accident codesLiaise with Engineer/claims investigators to achieve resolution of claimArrange hire on instructor cases and liaises with rentalsDeal with solicitors and accident management companiesCommunicate with brokersEffectively deal with incoming phone calls without having to refer to back office Team.The Person:Previous Customer Services experienceGood communication skillsAssertive telephone mannerAbility to take ownershipAbility to work under pressureAbility to identify potential fraudulent claimsPro active approach to capture third parties by phoneGreat office working hours on a shift basis between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)Free Parking, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + other benefitsStarting salary £19,500 rising to £20,000 after 6 months probationary period, rising to £21,000 per annum after first years service.North Shields - excellent publilc transport links
