Job Description

Technical IT Lecturer / Trainer - Level 6- North London - Between £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience / Fantastic career progression opportunities.The Role: Technical IT Lecturer / Trainer - Level 6

  • You will be working as part of an exciting forward-thinking team based at a leading digital college. As part of the wider teaching team, you will collaborate with your peers including all sixth form staff, to create and adapt content to ensure its up to date and fit for purpose. The college delivers higher level Data Analytics and Software Development apprenticeships. Working from one location this is classroom-based teaching with classes up to 40 plus, you will be excepted to engage, enthuse and develop learners.
  • Working with a variety of Blue Chip companies you will have close relationships with training and apprenticeship managers to ensure learners are up to date and on course to complete their qualification.
  • You will be leading the delivery of engaging course material to apprentices and ensure their educational progress, whilst working collaboratively with the teaching team.
  • A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.
    • Essential Requirements: Technical IT Lecturer / Trainer - Level 6
  • Formal teaching qualification
  • Extensive experience teaching higher-level Technical IT apprenticeships/degrees or in colleges/university
  • Hold a degree/higher apprenticeship in a technical subject i.e. Computing Science/Software Engineering
  • Proficiency in programming in Python or JavaScript
    • Desirables: Technical IT Lecturer / Trainer - Level 6
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Assessing qualification
