Job Description

A London based company who delivers safe, suitable homes and vital services for the homeless, backed by investors who care are seeking a Team Administrator to provide day to day administration support to the Allocations team, manage new enquiries, to liaisewith the local authorities and ensure all records are accurate.Along with a salary of £25,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, payday lunch, 23 days paid leave plus birthday off, private healthcare, long service cash awards, maternity/paternity pay.There’s excellent career development potential and you can expect to be promoted and receive a pay increase within twelve months.You’ll need some previous experience in an office-based administration role – perhaps you had a summer job whilst at Uni or are currently in an admin focussed role. It’s an advantage if you have some experience in housing or property but youll receive allthe on-the-job training and support that you need to become effective in your role.As an Allocations Team Administrator, youll own all the administration relating to bookings for new tenants, promptly respond to new enquiries, communicate with local authorities, as well as keeping records up to date.Responsibilities will include:

  • Recording new bookings from local authorities in our systems
  • Communicating with local authorities, and providing any documentation they require to be able to place tenants into a vacant property
  • Updating various local authority portals with available properties and booking details
  • Handing ad-hoc enquiries from residents and local authorities
  • Keeping company databases and management software systems updated to a high standard
We’re looking for a Team Administrator with:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Highly organised, with some previous experience in an administration role
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressured environment.
  • Close attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong team ethic, with the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
