Job Description

Are you interested in becoming a part of a school that creates a fun and engaging learning environment for children to reach their full potential Horizon Teachers are currently working alongside an Islington based school for children with severe learning difficulties and autism (ASD). They are looking for a SEND teacher to add to their team to support secondary aged children with severe physical andcomplex needs.The school aims to create a meaningful learning experience by meeting the children at their stage of learning and offering a highly personalised curriculums to encourage their unique strengths and interests to develop their confidence and resilience. Key responsibilities:

  • Experience with children who have severe physical or complex needs.
  • Experience with children diagnosed with autism (ASD)
  • Show ability to manage challenging behaviour.
